This week the children are finding out about instructions using the story 'The Gingerbread Man'. Today FS2 followed instructions to make and bake gingerbread men. Tomorrow will be the year 1's turn and they will have a go at writing their own instructions.
This afternoon we went for a walk around the village, looking at land use and comparing it to Katie Morag and the island where she lives.
We discovered all sorts of different land uses such as buildings including houses, a church and the 'Lamb Inn'. We found land used for farming including both animals and growing of crops.
