Monday 14th June

Today Reception learnt how to share and take turns when playing snakes and ladders.

Our new topic for the next 2 weeks has a Geography focus. We are learning about 'Islands and Pirates.' Some of the children designed and made pirate hats today.

We continued our poetry this morning. The Year 1 children were looking at the poem 'Animal Muddle'. We created our own animal muddles including snails with lobster claws and elephants with giraffes necks. We had great fun being so creative.

We are tackling time in maths this week, looking at both o'clock and half past times. The year 1s played a new version of 'What's the time Mr Wolf?'. Setting and matching times with a partner.

Well done to all the children in class 1 who took part in the talent show. They were very brave standing up in front of such a big audience.

REMINDER: Please bring in tomorrow a photograph/postcard/image of a holiday that you have had in the UK.
